Two ways to learn
Levels 1 and 2 start from seeing and controlling, then move into code. Levels 3 and 4 work directly against a developer toolchain, training behaviour in physics-accurate simulation before moving it onto the real robot.
How a level is paced
One lesson a week. Levels 1–3 run for 12 lessons, about three months; Level 4 runs for 16 lessons, about four months.
Frequently asked questions
Does my child need to bring anything?
No. The robot, the computers and all teaching materials are provided in class. Students only need to bring themselves, and a water bottle is always a good idea.
My child has never written a program. Can they still join?
Yes. Level 1 assumes no programming experience at all. Students start by seeing and controlling the robot, and only move into programming once the robot already feels familiar.
How many students are in a class?
Classes are kept small so that every student gets hands-on time with the robot in every lesson.
What happens if my child misses a lesson?
Missed lessons are not refunded or carried over. Where a recording or a make-up arrangement is possible, we will let you know by email.
Can we get a refund if we change our mind?
Yes, within the limits set out in our refund policy — please see the Terms & Conditions page for the exact periods.
Can parents sit in on the class?
Parents are very welcome at the final showcase lesson. During regular lessons we keep the room focused on the students — email us if you would like to observe and we will arrange it.
